The LEDs are driven by the GPIO{15,16} pins of the North Bridge GPIO controller. These pins are part of the 'spi_quad' pin group for which the 'spi' function is selected via the default pinctrl state of the 'spi' node. This is wrong however, since in order to allow controlling the LEDs, the pins should use the 'gpio' function. Before the commit mentined above, the 'spi' function is selected first by the pinctrl core before probing the spi driver, but then it gets overridden to 'gpio' implicitly via the devm_gpiod_get_index_optional() call from the 'leds-gpio' driver. After the commit, the LED subsystem gets initialized before the SPI subsystem, so the function of the pin group remains 'spi' which in turn prevents controlling of the LEDs. Despite the change of the initialization order, the root cause is that the pinctrl state definition is wrong since its initial commit 0d45062cfc89 ("arm64: dts: marvell: Add device tree for uDPU board"), To fix the problem, override the function in the 'spi_quad_pins' node to 'gpio' and move the pinctrl state definition from the 'spi' node into the 'leds' node. [PATCH for-rc] IB/rdmavt: Fix lock dependency in rvt_send/recv_cq

The 2 commits introduced ABBA hard lockup windows. The r_lock always must be grabbed before the s_lock. Simply swapping the order of grabbed locks before calling rvt_send_complete is not acceptable since 99% of the time rvt_send_complete will not need the r_lock, the completion queue is likely not full and therefore a call to rvt_error_qp will never happen. Grabbing both r_lock and s_lock before adding something to a completion queue is overkill. On the otherhand, reverting the above commits will allow for a possible lockdep issue. rvt_send/recv_cq CAN invoke rvt_error_qp. In those cases, they MUST have both r and s locks. It turns out that several callers of rvt_error_qp totally ignored this dependency. Therefore, undo the afformentioned commits AND implement a wrapper function around rvt_error_qp that forces the calling functions to specify what locks they hold. This forces all possible paths to be aware of their ownership of the r and s lock. The wrapper can then obtain the correct locks if it needs to. This is a necessary ugliness to continue to manage layered spinlocks in a function that is called from several possible codepaths. Note there are cases when callers only held the s lock. In order to prevent further ABBA spinlocks we must not attempt to grab the r lock while someone else holds it. If someone holds it we must drop the s lock and grab r then s. The LEDs are driven by the GPIO{15,16} pins of the North Bridge GPIO controller. These pins are part of the 'spi_quad' pin group for which the 'spi' function is selected via the default pinctrl state of the 'spi' node. This is wrong however, since in order to allow controlling the LEDs, the pins should use the 'gpio' function. Before the commit mentined above, the 'spi' function is selected first by the pinctrl core before probing the spi driver, but then it gets overridden to 'gpio' implicitly via the devm_gpiod_get_index_optional() call from the 'leds-gpio' driver. After the commit, the LED subsystem gets initialized before the SPI subsystem, so the function of the pin group remains 'spi' which in turn prevents controlling of the LEDs. Despite the change of the initialization order, the root cause is that the pinctrl state definition is wrong since its initial commit 0d45062cfc89 ("arm64: dts: marvell: Add device tree for uDPU board"), To fix the problem, override the function in the 'spi_quad_pins' node to 'gpio' and move the pinctrl state definition from the 'spi' node into the 'leds' node. [PATCH] ACPI/IORT: Fix memory leak in iort_rmr_alloc_sids()

If krealloc_array() fails in iort_rmr_alloc_sids(), the function returns NULL but does not free the original 'sids' allocation. This results in a memory leak since the caller overwrites the original pointer with the NULL return value. [PATCH v6.16.y] drm/dp: Change AUX DPCD probe address to DP_TRAINING_PATTERN_SET

commit d34d6feaf4a76833effcec0b148b65946b04cde8 upstream. Change the AUX DPCD probe address to DP_TRAINING_PATTERN_SET. Using DP_DPCD_REV for this is not compliant with the DP Standard and it leads to link training failures at least on a DP2.0 docking station when using UHBR link rates. This patch is a revert of commit 944e732be9c3 ("drm/dp: Change AUX DPCD probe address from DPCD_REV to LANE0_1_STATUS") and the corresponding fix for commit 05981233cf2e ("Revert "drm/dp: Change AUX DPCD probe address from DPCD_REV to LANE0_1_STATUS") in the v6.16.y tree. This change is only meant to be applied in the v6.16.y tree, not in earlier stable trees. Those helpers enabled us to compute a safe upper bound on the number of blocks that could be written in an untorn fashion with filesystem-provided out of place writes. Currently, the online fsck code employs static limits on the number of intent items that it's willing to accrue to a single transaction when it's trying to reap what it thinks are the old blocks from a corrupt structure. There have been no problems reported with this approach after years of testing, but static limits are scary and gross because overestimating the intent item limit could result in transaction overflows and dead filesystems; and underestimating causes unnecessary overhead. This series uses the new log intent item size helpers to estimate the limits dynamically based on worst-case per-block repair work vs. the size of the scrub transaction.
