[PATCH] tty: serial: sh-sci: fix RSCI FIFO overrun handling

The receive error handling code is shared between RSCI and all other SCIF port types, but the RSCI overrun_reg is specified as a memory offset, while for other SCIF types it is an enum value used to index into the sci_port_params->regs array, as mentioned above the sci_serial_in() function. For RSCI, the overrun_reg is CSR (0x48), causing the sci_getreg() call inside the sci_handle_fifo_overrun() function to index outside the bounds of the regs array, which currently has a size of 20, as specified by SCI_NR_REGS. Because of this, we end up accessing memory outside of RSCI's rsci_port_params structure, which, when interpreted as a plat_sci_reg, happens to have a non-zero size, causing the following WARN when sci_serial_in() is called, as the accidental size does not match the supported register sizes. The existence of the overrun_reg needs to be checked because SCIx_SH3_SCIF_REGTYPE has overrun_reg set to SCLSR, but SCLSR is not present in the regs array. Avoid calling sci_getreg() for port types which don't use standard register handling. [PATCH v5] block: Remove queue freezing from several sysfs store callbacks

Freezing the request queue from inside sysfs store callbacks may cause a deadlock in combination with the dm-multipath driver and the queue_if_no_path option. Additionally, freezing the request queue slows down system boot on systems where sysfs attributes are set synchronously. Fix this by removing the blk_mq_freeze_queue() / blk_mq_unfreeze_queue() calls from the store callbacks that do not strictly need these callbacks. This patch may cause a small delay in applying the new settings. [PATCH v2] ASoC: Intel: avs: Fix potential buffer overflow by snprintf()

[PATCH v2] leds: leds-lp50xx: enable chip before any communication

From: Christian Hitz <christian.hitz(a)bbv.ch> If a GPIO is used to control the chip's enable pin, it needs to be pulled high before any i2c communication is attempted. Currently, the enable GPIO handling is not correct. Assume the enable GPIO is low when the probe function is entered. In this case the device is in SHUTDOWN mode and does not react to i2c commands. During probe the following sequence happens: 1. The call to lp50xx_reset() on line 548 has no effect as i2c is not possible yet. 2. Then - on line 552 - lp50xx_enable_disable() is called. As "priv->enable_gpio“ has not yet been initialized, setting the GPIO has no effect. Also the i2c enable command is not executed as the device is still in SHUTDOWN. 3. On line 556 the call to lp50xx_probe_dt() finally parses the rest of the DT and the configured priv->enable_gpio is set up. As a result the device is still in SHUTDOWN mode and not ready for operation. Split lp50xx_enable_disable() into distinct enable and disable functions to enforce correct ordering between enable_gpio manipulations and i2c commands. Read enable_gpio configuration from DT before attempting to manipulate enable_gpio. Add delays to observe correct wait timing after manipulating enable_gpio and before any i2c communication. [PATCH] arm64: dts: qcom: lemans-evk: Enable Bluetooth support

There's a WCN6855 WiFi/Bluetooth module on an M.2 card. To make Bluetooth work, we need to define the necessary device tree nodes, including UART configuration and power supplies. Since there is no standard M.2 binding in the device tree at present, the PMU is described using dedicated PMU nodes to represent the internal regulators required by the module. The 3.3V supply for the module is assumed to come directly from the main board supply, which is 12V. To model this in the device tree, we add a fixed 12V regulator node as the DC-IN source and connect it to the 3.3V regulator node. [PATCH printk v1 0/1] Fix reported suspend failures

Hi, There have been multiple reports [0][1] (+ 2 offlist) of suspend failing when NBCON console drivers are in use. With the help of NXP and NVIDIA we were able to isolate the problem and verify the fix. The first NBCON drivers appeared in 6.13, so currently there is no LTS kernel that requires this series. But it should go into 6.17.x and 6.18. [PATCH v2 0/4] Rust: Fix typedefs for resource_size_t and phys_addr_t

This changes ResourceSize to use the resource_size_t typedef (currently ResourceSize is defined as phys_addr_t), and moves ResourceSize to kernel::io and defines PhysAddr next to it. Any usage of ResourceSize or bindings::phys_addr_t that references a physical address is updated to use the new PhysAddr typedef. I included some cc stable annotations because I think it is useful to backport this to v6.18. This is to make backporting drivers to the 6.18 LTS easier as we will not have to worry about changing imports when backporting. [PATCH v2 1/1] Bluetooth: btqca: Add WCN6855 firmware priority selection feature

The prefix "wcn" corresponds to the WCN685x chip, while entries without the "wcn" prefix correspond to the QCA2066 chip. There are some feature differences between the two. However, due to historical reasons, WCN685x chip has been using firmware without the "wcn" prefix. The mapping between the chip and its corresponding firmware has now been corrected.
