[PATCH 6.1.y] spi: cadence-qspi: fix pointer reference in runtime PM hooks

From: Théo Lebrun <theo.lebrun(a)bootlin.com> [ Upstream commit 32ce3bb57b6b402de2aec1012511e7ac4e7449dc ] dev_get_drvdata() gets used to acquire the pointer to cqspi and the SPI controller. Neither embed the other; this lead to memory corruption. On a given platform (Mobileye EyeQ5) the memory corruption is hidden inside cqspi->f_pdata. Also, this uninitialised memory is used as a mutex (ctlr->bus_lock_mutex) by spi_controller_suspend(). Use flexible arrays instead of zero-element arrays (which look like they are always overflowing) and split the cross-field memcpy() into two halves that can be appropriately bounds-checked by the compiler. [PATCH 6.6.y] smb: client: support kvec iterators in async read path

Add cifs_limit_kvec_subset() and select the appropriate limiter in cifs_send_async_read() to handle kvec iterators in async read path, fixing the EIO bug when running executables in cifs shares mounted with nolease. This patch -- or equivalent patch, does not exist upstream, as the upstream code has suffered considerable API changes. The affected path is currently handled by netfs lib and located under netfs/direct_read.c. [PATCH v2] atm/fore200e: Fix possible data race in fore200e_open()

Protect access to fore200e->available_cell_rate with rate_mtx lock to prevent potential data race. In this case, since the update depends on a prior read, a data race could lead to a wrong fore200e.available_cell_rate value. The field fore200e.available_cell_rate is generally protected by the lock fore200e.rate_mtx when accessed. In all other read and write cases, this field is consistently protected by the lock, except for this case and during initialization. This potential bug was detected by our experimental static analysis tool, which analyzes locking APIs and paired functions to identify data races and atomicity violations. [PATCH] cpufreq: intel_pstate: Unchecked MSR aceess in legacy mode

When turbo mode is unavailable on a Skylake-X system, executing the command: "echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/intel_pstate/no_turbo" results in an unchecked MSR access error: WRMSR to 0x199 (attempted to write 0x0000000100001300). This issue was reproduced on an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) system and is not a common problem across all Skylake-X systems. This error occurs because the MSR 0x199 Turbo Engage Bit (bit 32) is set when turbo mode is disabled. The issue arises when intel_pstate fails to detect that turbo mode is disabled. Here intel_pstate relies on MSR_IA32_MISC_ENABLE bit 38 to determine the status of turbo mode. However, on this system, bit 38 is not set even when turbo mode is disabled. According to the Intel Software Developer's Manual (SDM), the BIOS sets this bit during platform initialization to enable or disable opportunistic processor performance operations. Logically, this bit should be set in such cases. However, the SDM also specifies that "OS and applications must use CPUID leaf 06H to detect processors with opportunistic processor performance operations enabled." Therefore, in addition to checking MSR_IA32_MISC_ENABLE bit 38, verify that CPUID.06H:EAX[1] is 0 to accurately determine if turbo mode is disabled. [PATCH] x86/fpu: Ensure XFD state on signal delivery

When the non-AMX task resumes and reloads XSTATE with init values, a warning is triggered due to a mismatch between fpstate::xfd and the CPU's current XFD state. fpu__clear_user_states() does not currently re-synchronize the XFD state after such preemption. Invoke xfd_update_state() which detects and corrects the mismatch if the dynamic feature is enabled. This also benefits the sigreturn path, as fpu__restore_sig() may call fpu__clear_user_states() when the sigframe is inaccessible.
