[PATCH 6.12.y] scsi: storvsc: Ratelimit warning logs to prevent VM denial of service

commit d2138eab8cde61e0e6f62d0713e45202e8457d6d upstream If there's a persistent error in the hypervisor, the SCSI warning for failed I/O can flood the kernel log and max out CPU utilization, preventing troubleshooting from the VM side. Ratelimit the warning so it doesn't DoS the VM. [PATCH] libfs: fix infinite directory reads for offset dir

From: yangerkun <yangerkun(a)huawei.com> [ Upstream commit 64a7ce76fb901bf9f9c36cf5d681328fc0fd4b5a ] After we switch tmpfs dir operations from simple_dir_operations to simple_offset_dir_operations, every rename happened will fill new dentry to dest dir's maple tree(&SHMEM_I(inode)->dir_offsets->mt) with a free key starting with octx->newx_offset, and then set newx_offset equals to free key + 1. This will lead to infinite readdir combine with rename happened at the same time, which fail generic/736 in xfstests(detail show as below). 1. create 5000 files(1 2 3...) under one dir 2. call readdir(man 3 readdir) once, and get one entry 3. rename(entry, "TEMPFILE"), then rename("TEMPFILE", entry) 4. loop 2~3, until readdir return nothing or we loop too many times(tmpfs break test with the second condition) We choose the same logic what commit 9b378f6ad48cf ("btrfs: fix infinite directory reads") to fix it, record the last_index when we open dir, and do not emit the entry which index >= last_index. The file->private_data now used in offset dir can use directly to do this, and we also update the last_index when we llseek the dir file. [PATCH] ALSA: hda: Fix headset detection failure due to unstable sort

The auto_parser assumed sort() was stable, but the kernel's sort() uses heapsort, which has never been stable. After commit 0e02ca29a563 ("lib/sort: optimize heapsort with double-pop variation"), the order of equal elements changed, causing the headset to fail to work. Fix the issue by recording the original order of elements before sorting and using it as a tiebreaker for equal elements in the comparison function. [PATCH v3] drm/i915: Fix page cleanup on DMA remap failure

When converting to folios the cleanup path of shmem_get_pages() was missed. When a DMA remap fails and the max segment size is greater than PAGE_SIZE it will attempt to retry the remap with a PAGE_SIZEd segment size. [PATCH v6.12 hotfix] mm/zswap: fix inconsistent charging when zswap_store_page() fails

Commit b7c0ccdfbafd ("mm: zswap: support large folios in zswap_store()") mistakenly skipped charging any zswapped pages when a single call to zswap_store_page() failed, even if some pages in the folio are successfully stored in zswap. Making things worse, these not-charged pages are uncharged in zswap_entry_free(), making zswap charging inconsistent. [PATCH v5 0/7] drm: Add DSI/DP support for Renesas r8a779h0 V4M and grey-hawk board

Add everything needed to support the DSI output on Renesas r8a779h0 (V4M) SoC, and the DP output (via sn65dsi86 DSI to DP bridge) on the Renesas grey-hawk board. Overall the DSI and the board design is almost identical to Renesas r8a779g0 and white-hawk board. Note: the v4 no longer has the dts and the clk patches, as those have been merged to renesas-devel. [PATCH 6.1.y] scsi: storvsc: Ratelimit warning logs to prevent VM denial of service

commit d2138eab8cde61e0e6f62d0713e45202e8457d6d upstream If there's a persistent error in the hypervisor, the SCSI warning for failed I/O can flood the kernel log and max out CPU utilization, preventing troubleshooting from the VM side. Ratelimit the warning so it doesn't DoS the VM.
