[PATCH] riscv: fix overlap of allocated page and PTR_ERR

On riscv32, it is possible for the last page in virtual address space (0xfffff000) to be allocated. This page overlaps with PTR_ERR, so that shouldn't happen. There is already some code to ensure memblock won't allocate the last page. However, buddy allocator is left unchecked. Fix this by reserving physical memory that would be mapped at virtual addresses greater than 0xfffff000. However, the umask of the event is bigger than 32bit. This is an error in the original uncore spec. Add a new umask_ext5 for the new CHA umask range. Opportunistically hoist the logic above the tracepoint so that the trace is coherent with respect to what is actually injected (this was also the behavior prior to the buggy commit). Wp_grp_size (Write Protect Group Size) refers to an attribute of the eMMC card, used to manage write protection and is the CSD register [36:32] of the eMMC device. Wp_grp_size (Write Protect Group Size) indicates how many eMMC blocks are contained in each write protection group on the eMMC card. To allow userspace easy access of the CSD register bits, let's add sysfs node "wp_grp_size". Hello, I am using a TP-Link UE306 USB Ethernet adapter. The kernel detects it as an ASIX AX88179A USB Ethernet adapter. When using a different MAC address than the adapter's own (i.e. MAC address randomization), I am unable to send or receive packets unless set to promiscuous mode. I am using NetworkManager to manage my connections. When I set 802-3-ethernet.cloned-mac-address to the device's MAC address in the connection settings (i.e. `nmcli con edit), the device works as expected. [PATCH 6.1.y] net: tls: handle backlogging of crypto requests

From: Jakub Kicinski <kuba(a)kernel.org> commit 8590541473188741055d27b955db0777569438e3 upstream Since we're setting the CRYPTO_TFM_REQ_MAY_BACKLOG flag on our requests to the crypto API, crypto_aead_{encrypt,decrypt} can return -EBUSY instead of -EINPROGRESS in valid situations. For example, when the cryptd queue for AESNI is full (easy to trigger with an artificially low cryptd.cryptd_max_cpu_qlen), requests will be enqueued to the backlog but still processed. In that case, the async callback will also be called twice: first with err == -EINPROGRESS, which it seems we can just ignore, then with err == 0. Compared to Sabrina's original patch this version uses the new tls_*crypt_async_wait() helpers and converts the EBUSY to EINPROGRESS to avoid having to modify all the error handling paths. The handling is identical. [PATCH v2] serial: core: only stop transmit when HW fifo is empty

If the circular buffer is empty, it just means we fit all characters to send into the HW fifo, but not that the hardware finished transmitting them. So if we immediately call stop_tx() after that, this may abort any pending characters in the HW fifo, and cause dropped characters on the console. Fix this by only stopping tx when the tx HW fifo is actually empty. [PATCH v3] PCI: dw-rockchip: Fix initial PERST# GPIO value

PERST# is active low according to the PCIe specification. However, the existing pcie-dw-rockchip.c driver does: gpiod_set_value(..., 0); msleep(100); gpiod_set_value(..., 1); When asserting + deasserting PERST#. This is of course wrong, but because all the device trees for this compatible string have also incorrectly marked this GPIO as ACTIVE_HIGH: $ git grep -B 10 reset-gpios arch/arm64/boot/dts/rockchip/rk3568* $ git grep -B 10 reset-gpios arch/arm64/boot/dts/rockchip/rk3588* The actual toggling of PERST# is correct. (And we cannot change it anyway, since that would break device tree compatibility.) However, this driver does request the GPIO to be initialized as GPIOD_OUT_HIGH, which does cause a silly sequence where PERST# gets toggled back and forth for no good reason. Fix this by requesting the GPIO to be initialized as GPIOD_OUT_LOW (which for this driver means PERST# asserted). This will avoid an unnecessary signal change where PERST# gets deasserted (by devm_gpiod_get_optional()) and then gets asserted (by rockchip_pcie_start_link()) just a few instructions later.
