[PATCH v23 5/5] ring-buffer/selftest: Add ring-buffer mapping test

[PATCH v2 0/2] Selftests: Fix compilation warnings due to missing _GNU_SOURCE definition

Since kselftest_harness.h introduces asprintf()[1], many selftests have compilation warnings or errors due to missing _GNU_SOURCE definitions. The issue stems from a lack of a LINE_MAX definition in Android (see commit 38c957f07038), which is the reason why asprintf() was introduced. We tried adding _GNU_SOURCE definitions to more selftests to fix, but asprintf() may continue to cause problems, and since it is quite late in the 6.9 cycle, we would like to revert 809216233555 first to provide testing for forks[2]. [PATCH v2] selftests/mqueue: fix 5 warnings about signed/unsigned mismatches

When building with clang, via: make LLVM=1 -C tools/testing/selftest ...clang warns about several cases of using a signed integer for the priority argument to mq_receive(3), which expects an unsigned int. Fix this by declaring the type as unsigned int in all cases. Also, both input and output priority are unsigned, per the man pages, so let's change the type of both priorities throughout, even though clang did not warn about the prio_out variable. Also, add an argument name to test->func(), in order to address another warning from clang. [PATCH net] selftests: net: avoid waiting for server in amt.sh forever when it fails.

In the forwarding testcase, it opens a server and a client with the nc. The server receives the correct message from NC, it prints OK. The server prints FAIL if it receives the wrong message from the client. But If the server can't receive any message, it will not close so the amt.sh waits forever. There are several reasons. 1. crash of smcrouted. 2. Send a message from the client to the server before the server is up. To avoid this problem, the server waits only for 10 seconds. The client sends messages for 10 seconds. If the server is successfully closed, it kills the client. [PATCH v4 0/9] Support Zve32[xf] and Zve64[xfd] Vector subextensions

The series composes of two parts. The first part provides a quick fix for the issue on a recent thread[1]. The issue happens when a platform has ununified vector register length across multiple cores. Specifically, patch 1 adds a comment at a callsite of riscv_setup_vsize to clarify how vlenb is observed by the system. Patch 2 fixes the issue by failing the boot process of a secondary core if vlenb mismatches. The second part of the series provide a finer grain view of the Vector extension. Patch 3 give the obsolete ISA parser the ability to expand ISA extensions for sigle letter extensions. Patch 3, 4 introduces Zve32x, Zve32f, Zve64x, Zve64f, Zve64d for isa parsing and hwprobe. Patch 5 updates all callsites such that Vector subextensions are maximumly supported by the kernel. Two parts of the series are sent together to ease the effort of picking dependency patches. The first part can be merged independent of the second one if necessary. The series is tested on a QEMU and verified that booting, Vector programs context-switch, signal, ptrace, prctl interfaces works when we only report partial V from the ISA. [PATCH REPOST net-next v3] selftest: epoll_busy_poll: epoll busy poll tests

Add a simple test for the epoll busy poll ioctls, using the kernel selftest harness. This test ensures that the ioctls have the expected return codes and that the kernel properly gets and sets epoll busy poll parameters. The test can be expanded in the future to do real busy polling (provided another machine to act as the client is available). [PATCH] selftests: Add _GNU_SOURCE definition when including kselftest_harness.h

asprintf() is declared in stdio.h when defining _GNU_SOURCE, but stdio.h is so common that many files don’t define _GNU_SOURCE before including stdio.h, and defining _GNU_SOURCE after including stdio.h will no longer take effect. Since kselftest_harness.h introduces asprintf(), it is necessary to add _GNU_SOURCE definition in all selftests including kselftest_harness.h, otherwise, there will be warnings or even errors during compilation. There are already many selftests that define _GNU_SOURCE or put the include of kselftest_harness.h at the very beginning of the .c file, just add the _GNU_SOURCE definition in the tests that have compilation warnings.
