It simply mmaps it, so qemu has a linear representation of the resource and can use it as pixman image backing storage without copying the pixel data. [PATCH v6] Add udmabuf misc device

A driver to let userspace turn memfd regions into dma-bufs. Use case: Allows qemu create dmabufs for the vga framebuffer or virtio-gpu ressources. Then they can be passed around to display those guest things on the host. [PATCH] dma-buf: Remove requirement for ops->map() from dma_buf_export

[PATCH] dma-buf: fix sanity check in dma_buf_export

Commit 09ea0dfbf972 made map_atomic and map function pointers optional, but didn't adapt the sanity check in dma_buf_export. Fix that. Note that the atomic map interface has been removed altogether meanwhile (commit f664a52695), therefore we have to remove the map check only. [PATCH 1/2] mm/cma: remove unsupported gfp_mask parameter from cma_alloc()

cma_alloc() function doesn't really support gfp flags other than __GFP_NOWARN, so convert gfp_mask parameter to boolean no_warn parameter. This will help to avoid giving false feeling that this function supports standard gfp flags and callers can pass __GFP_ZERO to get zeroed buffer, what has already been an issue: see commit dd65a941f6ba ("arm64: dma-mapping: clear buffers allocated with FORCE_CONTIGUOUS flag").
