The filename of the patch is: alsa-hda-fix-yet-another-i915-pointer-leftover-in-error-path.patch and it can be found in the queue-4.4 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let stable@vger.kernel.org know about it.

The hdac_acomp object in hdac_i915.c is left as assigned even after binding with i915 actually fails, and this leads to the WARN_ON() at the next load of the module.
