I collected the following clang patches from chromeos-4.14. They are not really needed to build x86_64:defconfig in v4.14.y with clang (5.0), but they do fix a couple of build warnings if the respective drivers are enabled. I'll leave it up to you if you want to apply them or not. I did make sure that defconfig and allmodconfig still build using gcc with the patches applied.
