The filename of the patch is: drm-bridge-tc358767-do-no-fail-on-hi-res-displays.patch and it can be found in the queue-4.14 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let stable@vger.kernel.org know about it.

Do not fail data rates higher than 2.7 and more than 2 lanes. Try to fall back to 2.7Gbps and 2 lanes.
