The user can set any value for 'deadtime'. This affects the arithmetic expression 'req->deadtime * SMB_ECHO_INTERVAL', which is subject to overflow. The added check makes the server behavior more predictable.
Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.
