This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
media: cxusb, dib0700: ignore XC2028_I2C_FLUSH
to the 3.18-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git%3Ba=su...
The filename of the patch is: media-cxusb-dib0700-ignore-xc2028_i2c_flush.patch and it can be found in the queue-3.18 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let stable@vger.kernel.org know about it.

The XC2028_I2C_FLUSH only needs to be implemented on a few devices. Others can safely ignore it.
That prevents filling the dmesg with lots of messages like:
dib0700: stk7700ph_xc3028_callback: unknown command 2, arg 0
