This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
staging/speakup: fix get_word non-space look-ahead
to my staging git tree which can be found at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging.git in the staging-linus branch.
The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)
The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the next -rc kernel release.

get_char was erroneously given the address of the pointer to the text instead of the address of the text, thus leading to random crashes when the user requests speaking a word while the current position is on a space character and say_word_ctl is not enabled.
