This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
rtc: set the alarm to the next expiring timer

The filename of the patch is: rtc-set-the-alarm-to-the-next-expiring-timer.patch and it can be found in the queue-4.14 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let stable@vger.kernel.org know about it.

If there is any non expired timer in the queue, the RTC alarm is never set. This is an issue when adding a timer that expires before the next non expired timer.
Ensure the RTC alarm is set in that case.
