The filename of the patch is: irda-vlsi_ir-fix-check-for-dma-mapping-errors.patch and it can be found in the queue-4.4 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let stable@vger.kernel.org know about it.

vlsi_alloc_ring() checks for DMA mapping errors by comparing returned address with zero, while pci_dma_mapping_error() should be used.
Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org).
