The filename of the patch is: scsi-libsas-fix-error-when-getting-phy-events.patch and it can be found in the queue-4.15 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let stable@vger.kernel.org know about it.

The intend purpose here was to goto out if smp_execute_task() returned error. Obviously something got screwed up. We will never get these link error statistics below:

Obviously we should goto error handler if smp_execute_task() returns non-zero.
