[Linux-stable-mirror] [PATCH v2] ASoC: sun8i-codec: Set the BCLK divider

While the current code was reporting to be able to work in master mode, it failed to do so because the BCLK divider wasn't programmed, meaning that the BCLK would run at the PLL's frequency no matter the sample rate. It was obviously a bit too fast. Add support to retrieve the divider to use, and set it. Since our PLL is not always able to generate a perfect multiple of the sample rate, we'll have to choose the closest divider that matches our setup. This can lead to mbus failures like this: mvebu_mbus: cannot add window '4:e8', conflicts with another window mvebu-pcie mbus:pex@e0000000: Could not create MBus window at [mem 0xe0000000-0xe00fffff]: -22 For me this is happening during a hotplug cycle. The PCI core is not changing the values, just writing them twice while active. The patch addresses the general case of any change to an active window, but not atomically. The code is slightly refactored so io and mem can share more of the window logic. The redelivery of an lsi that is still asserted after eoi doesn't fall into this category, so the increasement there is removed. The iio_trigger_put() adds a module_put which is bad since they never did a module_get. In the sysfs driver, module_get/put's are used as triggers are added & removed. This extra module_put() occurs on an error path in the probe routine (probably rare). In the bfin-timer & interrupt trigger drivers, the module resources are not explicitly managed, so it's doing a put on something that was never get'd. It occurs on the probe error path and on the remove path (not so rare). Tested with the sysfs trigger driver. The bfin & interrupt drivers were build tested & inspected only.
