[PATCH] ata: ahci: Use correct DMI identifier for ASUSPRO-D840SA LPM quirk

While most entries in ahci_broken_lpm(), for Lenovo based boards, match on DMI_PRODUCT_VERSION, ASUS apparently store the board name in DMI_PRODUCT_NAME rather than DMI_PRODUCT_VERSION. Use the correct DMI identifier (DMI_PRODUCT_NAME) to match the ASUSPRO-D840SA board, such that the quirk will actually get applied. For the new installkernel application, as Davide says: <<The %post currently does a shuffling dance before calling installkernel. This isn't actually necessary afaict, and the current implementation ends up triggering downstream issues such as https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/29568 This commit simplifies the logic to remove the shuffling. For reference, the original logic was added in commit 3c9c7a14b627("rpm-pkg: add %post section to create initramfs and grub hooks").>> But we need to keep the old behavior as well, because the old installkernel application from grubby package, does not allow this simplification and we need to be backward compatible to avoid issues with the different packages. Mimic Fedora shipping process and store vmlinuz, config amd System.map in the module directory instead of the boot directory. In this way, we will avoid the commented problem for all the cases, because the new destination files are not going to exist in the boot directory of the kernel package. Replace installkernel tool with kernel-install tool, because the latter is more complete. Besides, after installkernel tool execution, check to complete if the correct package files vmlinuz, System.map and config files are present in /boot directory, and if necessary, copy manually for install operation. In this way, take into account if files were not previously copied from /usr/lib/kernel/install.d/* scripts and if the suitable files for the requested package are present (it could be others if the rpm files were replace with a new pacakge with the same release and a different build). [PATCH v3] usb: cdnsp: Fix issue with CV Bad Descriptor test

The SSP2 controller has extra endpoint state preserve bit (ESP) which setting causes that endpoint state will be preserved during Halt Endpoint command. It is used only for EP0. Without this bit the Command Verifier "TD 9.10 Bad Descriptor Test" failed. Setting this bit doesn't have any impact for SSP controller. [PATCH 5.10/5.15 1/1] fuse: don't increment nlink in link()

The fuse_iget() call in create_new_entry() already updated the inode with all the new attributes and incremented the attribute version. Incrementing the nlink will result in the wrong count. This wasn't noticed because the attributes were invalidated right after this. Updating ctime is still needed for the writeback case when the ctime is not refreshed. [PATCH] arm64: dts: rockchip: use cs-gpios for spi1 on ringneck

From: Jakob Unterwurzacher <jakob.unterwurzacher(a)cherry.de> Hardware CS has a very slow rise time of about 6us, causing transmission errors when CS does not reach high between transaction. It looks like it's not driven actively when transitioning from low to high but switched to input, so only the CPU pull-up pulls it high, slowly. Transitions from high to low are fast. On the oscilloscope, CS looks like an irregular sawtooth pattern like this: _____ ^ / | ^ /| / | /| / | / | / | / | / | ___/ |___/ |_____/ |___ With cs-gpios we have a CS rise time of about 20ns, as it should be, and CS looks rectangular. This fixes the data errors when running a flashcp loop against a m25p40 spi flash. With the Rockchip 6.1 kernel we see the same slow rise time, but for some reason CS is always high for long enough to reach a solid high. The RK3399 and RK3588 SoCs use the same SPI driver, so we also checked our "Puma" (RK3399) and "Tiger" (RK3588) boards. They do not have this problem. Hardware CS rise time is good. [PATCH 1/1] USB: gadget: f_hid: Fix memory leak in hidg_bind error path

In hidg_bind(), if alloc_workqueue() fails after usb_assign_descriptors() has successfully allocated the USB descriptors, the current error handling does not call usb_free_all_descriptors() to free the allocated descriptors, resulting in a memory leak. Restructure the error handling by adding proper cleanup labels: - fail_free_all: cleans up workqueue and descriptors - fail_free_descs: cleans up descriptors only - fail: original cleanup for earlier failures This ensures that allocated resources are properly freed in reverse order of their allocation, preventing the memory leak when alloc_workqueue() fails. [PATCH v3] thunderbolt: Fix wake on connect at runtime

The sysfs file is supposed to only control behavior while system is suspended. [PATCH v2] nvmem: imx-ocotp: fix MAC address byte length

The commit "13bcd440f2ff nvmem: core: verify cell's raw_len" caused an extension of the "mac-address" cell from 6 to 8 bytes due to word_size of 4 bytes. Thus, the required byte swap for the mac-address of the full buffer length, caused an trucation of the read mac-address. From the original address 70:B3:D5:14:E9:0E to 00:00:70:B3:D5:14 After swapping only the first 6 bytes, the mac-address is correctly passed to the upper layers. [PATCH] crypto: qat - lower priority for skcipher and aead algorithms

[PATCH stable 5.10,5.15 1/2] net: Fix checksum update for ILA adj-transport

One of them, adj-transport, consist in parsing the transport layer and updating any found checksum. This logic relies on inet_proto_csum_replace_by_diff and produces an incorrect skb->csum when in state CHECKSUM_COMPLETE. The L4 checksum is updated such that it "cancels" the IPv6 address change in terms of checksum computation, so the impact on skb->csum is null. Note this would be different for an IPv4 packet since three fields would be updated: the IPv4 address, the IP checksum, and the L4 checksum. Two would cancel each other and skb->csum would still need to be updated to take the L4 checksum change into account. This patch fixes it by passing an ipv6 flag to inet_proto_csum_replace_by_diff, to skip the skb->csum update if we're in the IPv6 case. Note the behavior of the only other user of inet_proto_csum_replace_by_diff, the BPF subsystem, is left as is in this patch and fixed in the subsequent patch. With the fix, using the reproduction from above, I can confirm skb->csum is not touched by inet_proto_csum_replace_by_diff and the TCP SYN proceeds to the application after the ILA translation. [PATCH net 2/2] net: wangxun: revert the adjustment of the IRQ vector sequence

Due to hardware limitations of NGBE, queue IRQs can only be requested on vector 0 to 7. When the number of queues is set to the maximum 8, the PCI IRQ vectors are allocated from 0 to 8. The vector 0 is used by MISC interrupt, and althrough the vector 8 is used by queue interrupt, it is unable to receive packets. This will cause some packets to be dropped when RSS is enabled and they are assigned to queue 8. So revert the adjustment of the MISC IRQ location, to make it be the last one in IRQ vectors. [RESEND PATCH v5] usb: xhci: quirk for data loss in ISOC transfers

During the High-Speed Isochronous Audio transfers, xHCI controller on certain AMD platforms experiences momentary data loss. This results in Missed Service Errors (MSE) being generated by the xHCI. The root cause of the MSE is attributed to the ISOC OUT endpoint being omitted from scheduling. This can happen when an IN endpoint with a 64ms service interval either is pre-scheduled prior to the ISOC OUT endpoint or the interval of the ISOC OUT endpoint is shorter than that of the IN endpoint. Consequently, the OUT service is neglected when an IN endpoint with a service interval exceeding 32ms is scheduled concurrently (every 64ms in this scenario). This issue is particularly seen on certain older AMD platforms. To mitigate this problem, it is recommended to adjust the service interval of the IN endpoint to not exceed 32ms (interval 8). This adjustment ensures that the OUT endpoint will not be bypassed, even if a smaller interval value is utilized. BLOCK_LEGACY_AUTOLOAD not default y in Linux 5.15.179+

Hello, we're facing a regression after updating to 5.15.179+. I've found that fbdee71bb5d8d054e1bdb5af4c540f2cb86fe296 (block: deprecate autoloading based on dev_t) was merged that disabled autoloading of modules. This broke mounting loopback devices on our side. Why wasn't 451f0b6f4c44d7b649ae609157b114b71f6d7875 (block: default BLOCK_LEGACY_AUTOLOAD to y) merged, too? This commit was merged for 6.1.y, 6.6.y and 6.12y, but not for 5.15.y. Please consider merging this for 5.15.y soon. Thanks. Sebastian
