[PATCH v4 3/5] PCI: qcom: Disable ASPM L0s for sc8280xp, sa8540p and sa8295p

Commit 9f4f3dfad8cf ("PCI: qcom: Enable ASPM for platforms supporting 1.9.0 ops") started enabling ASPM unconditionally when the hardware claims to support it. This triggers Correctable Errors for some PCIe devices on machines like the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s when L0s is enabled, which could indicate an incomplete driver ASPM implementation or that the hardware does in fact not support L0s. This has now been confirmed by Qualcomm to be the case for sc8280xp and its derivate platforms (e.g. sa8540p and sa8295p). Specifically, the PHY configuration used on these platforms is not correctly tuned for L0s and there is currently no updated configuration available. Add a new flag to the driver configuration data and use it to disable ASPM L0s on sc8280xp, sa8540p and sa8295p for now. Note that only the 1.9.0 ops enable ASPM currently. [PATCH v0 0/2] Fix LPSS clock divider for XPS 9530, 6.7.y backport

[PATCH 00/11] drm: Only try to set formats supported by the hardware

When userland uses DRM_IOCTL_MODE_ADDFB to add a framebuffer, the DRM subsystem tries to find a pixel format from the supplied depth and bpp-values. It does this by calling drm_driver_legacy_fb_format(). Unfortunately drm_driver_legacy_fb_format() can return formats not supported by the underlying hardware. This series of patches remedies this problem in patch 1. In order to use the same logic for determining the pixel format, when a fbdev adds a framebuffer as userland does, patches 2 to 11 migrates fbdev users of drm_mode_legacy_fb_format() to drm_driver_legacy_fb_format(). This series has been tested with the nouveau and modesetting drivers on a NVIDIA NV96, the modesetting driver on Beagleboard Black, and with the Intel and modesetting drivers on an Intel HD Graphics 4000 chipset. This is an evolved version of the changes proposed in "drm: Don't return unsupported formats in drm_mode_legacy_fb_format" [1] following the suggestions of Thomas Zimmermann. [PATCH] firmware: qcom_scm: disable clocks if qcom_scm_bw_enable() fails

There are several functions which are calling qcom_scm_bw_enable() then returns immediately if the call fails and leaves the clocks enabled. Change the code of these functions to disable clocks when the qcom_scm_bw_enable() call fails. This also fixes a possible dma buffer leak in the qcom_scm_pas_init_image() function. Compile tested only due to lack of hardware with interconnect support. [PATCH 5.10/5.15] io_uring: fix registered files leak

No upstream commit exists for this patch. Backport of commit 705318a99a13 ("io_uring/af_unix: disable sending io_uring over sockets") introduced registered files leaks in 5.10/5.15 stable branches when CONFIG_UNIX is enabled. The 5.10/5.15 backports removed io_sqe_file_register() calls from io_install_fixed_file() and __io_sqe_files_update() so that newly added files aren't passed to UNIX-related skbs and thus can't be put during unregistering process. Skbs in the ring socket receive queue are released but there is no skb having reference to the newly updated file. In other words, when CONFIG_UNIX is enabled there would be no fput() when files are unregistered for the corresponding fget() from io_install_fixed_file() and __io_sqe_files_update(). Drop several code paths related to SCM_RIGHTS as a partial change from commit 6e5e6d274956 ("io_uring: drop any code related to SCM_RIGHTS"). This code is useless in stable branches now, too, but is causing leaks in 5.10/5.15. As stated above, the affected code was removed in upstream by commit 6e5e6d274956 ("io_uring: drop any code related to SCM_RIGHTS"). Fresher stables from 6.1 have io_file_need_scm() stub function which usage is effectively equivalent to dropping most of SCM-related code. 5.4 seems not to be affected with this problem since SCM-related functions have been dropped there by the backport-patch. [PATCH stable-6.7] soc: qcom: pmic_glink_altmode: fix drm bridge use-after-free

commit b979f2d50a099f3402418d7ff5f26c3952fb08bb upstream. A recent DRM series purporting to simplify support for "transparent bridges" and handling of probe deferrals ironically exposed a use-after-free issue on pmic_glink_altmode probe deferral. This has manifested itself as the display subsystem occasionally failing to initialise and NULL-pointer dereferences during boot of machines like the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s. Specifically, the dp-hpd bridge is currently registered before all resources have been acquired which means that it can also be deregistered on probe deferrals. In the meantime there is a race window where the new aux bridge driver (or PHY driver previously) may have looked up the dp-hpd bridge and stored a (non-reference-counted) pointer to the bridge which is about to be deallocated. In this case, the fix is to move the bridge registration in the pmic_glink_altmode driver to after all resources have been looked up. Incidentally, with the new dp-hpd bridge implementation, which registers child devices, this is also a requirement due to a long-standing issue in driver core that can otherwise lead to a probe deferral loop (see commit fbc35b45f9f6 ("Add documentation on meaning of -EPROBE_DEFER")). [PATCH v5.15 0/2] v5.15 backports for CVE-2023-52447

Hi all, This patch series includes backports for the changes that fix CVE-2023-52447. Commit e6c86c513f44 ("rcu-tasks: Provide rcu_trace_implies_rcu_gp()") applied cleanly. Commit 876673364161 ("bpf: Defer the free of inner map when necessary") had one significant conflict, which was due to missing commit 8d5a8011b35d ("bpf: Batch call_rcu callbacks instead of SLAB_TYPESAFE_BY_RCU."). The conflict was because of the switch to queue_work() from schedule_work() in __bpf_map_put(). From what I can tell, the switch to queue_work() from schedule_work() isn't relevant in the context of this bug, so I resolved the conflict by keeping schedule_work() and not including 8d5a8011b35d ("bpf: Batch call_rcu callbacks instead of SLAB_TYPESAFE_BY_RCU."). I also noticed that commit a6fb03a9c9c8 ("bpf: add percpu stats for bpf_map elements insertions/deletions") is tagged as a stable dependency of commit 876673364161. However, I don't see the functions and fields added in that patch used at all in commit 876673364161. This patch was backported to linux-6.1.y, but a `git grep` seems to show that `bpf_map_init_elem_count` is never referenced in linux-6.1.y. It seems to me that this patch is not actually a dependency of commit 876673364161, so I didn't include it in this backport. I ran the selftests added in commit 1624918be84a ("selftests/bpf: Add test cases for inner map"), and they passed with no KASAN warnings. However, I did not manage to find a kernel on which these tests did generate a KASAN warning, so the test result may not be very meaningful. Apart from that, my typical build+boot test passed.
