Also, as pointed out by Andi Kleen, we need to make sure that entire ELF note is within a page bounds, so move the overflow check up and add an extra note_size boundaries validation. Fixes tag below points to the code that moved this code into lib/buildid.c, and then subsequently was used in perf subsystem, making this code exposed to perf_event_open() users in v5.12+. The fault handler checks if the VM_GROWSUP bit is set in the vm_flags field of a memory area before it allows it to expand. This patch modifies the parisc specific code only. A RFC for a generic patch to modify mmap() for all architectures was sent to the mailing list but did not get enough Acks. The fault handler checks if the VM_GROWSUP bit is set in the vm_flags field of a memory area before it allows it to expand. This patch modifies the parisc specific code only. A RFC for a generic patch to modify mmap() for all architectures was sent to the mailing list but did not get enough Acks. Tegra is adding the DAPM of the respective widgets directly to the card and therefore the DAPM has no component.
