[PATCH v2] staging: android: ion: fix ION_IOC_{MAP, SHARE} use-after-free

The ION_IOC_{MAP,SHARE} ioctls drop and reacquire client->lock several times while operating on one of the client's ion_handles. This creates windows where userspace can call ION_IOC_FREE on the same client with the same handle, and effectively make the kernel drop its own reference. For example: - thread A: ION_IOC_ALLOC creates an ion_handle with refcount 1 - thread A: starts ION_IOC_MAP and increments the refcount to 2 - thread B: ION_IOC_FREE decrements the refcount to 1 - thread B: ION_IOC_FREE decrements the refcount to 0 and frees the handle - thread A: continues ION_IOC_MAP with a dangling ion_handle * to freed memory Fix this by holding client->lock for the duration of ION_IOC_{MAP,SHARE}, preventing the concurrent ION_IOC_FREE. Also remove ion_handle_get_by_id(), since there's literally no way to use it safely. This patch is applied on top of 4.4.y, and applies to older kernels too. 4.9.y was fixed separately. Kernels 4.12 and later are unaffected, since all the underlying ion_handle infrastructure has been ripped out. [STABLE <= 4.13][PATCH 0/2] IRDA fixes

Both the cursor position and the buttons are located in the same application collection (Mouse) and the kernel should only create one input device for those. However, for an undetermined reason, the kernel splits the device in 2, making systemd not tagging the second mouse with the coordinates only as a mouse. And then userspace ignores it which leads to a mouse where only the buttons are working. [PATCH 3/4] HID: core: fix grouping by application

commit f07b3c1da92d ("HID: generic: create one input report per application type") was effectively the same as MULTI_INPUT: hidinput->report was never set, so hidinput_match_application() always returned null. Fix that by testing against the real application. Note that this breaks some old eGalax touchscreens that expect MULTI_INPUT instead of HID_QUIRK_INPUT_PER_APP. [PATCH] mtd: rawnand: fsmc: Fix Hamming ECC

Apparently ECC bytes are not ordered as expected by nand_correct_data() in the ecc_calc buffer which leads to invalid bitflip correction when an ECC error is detected (can be reproduced with 'nandbiterrs -i'). Re-ordering ECC bytes seems to fix the problem. While at it, get rid of the useless u8 cast. [PATCH v2 6/9] net: bcmgenet: fix OF child-node lookup

Use the new of_get_compatible_child() helper to lookup the mdio child node instead of using of_find_compatible_node(), which searches the entire tree from a given start node and thus can return an unrelated (i.e. non-child) node. This also addresses a potential use-after-free (e.g. after probe deferral) as the tree-wide helper drops a reference to its first argument (i.e. the node of the device being probed). [PATCH v3 01/10] usb: typec: Take care of driver module reference counting
