[PATCH v6 0/3] livepatch: Move modules to selftests and add a new test

There is also a new test being added. This new test exercises multiple processes calling a syscall, while a livepatch patched the syscall. Why this move is an improvement: * The modules are now compiled as out-of-tree modules against the current running kernel, making them capable of being tested on different systems with newer or older kernels. * Such approach now needs kernel-devel package to be installed, since they are out-of-tree modules. These can be generated by running "make rpm-pkg" in the kernel source. What needs to be solved: * Currently gen_tar only packages the resulting binaries of the tests, and not the sources. For the current approach, the newly added modules would be compiled and then packaged. It works when testing on a system with the same kernel version. But it will fail when running on a machine with different kernel version, since module was compiled against the kernel currently running. This is not a new problem, just aligning the expectations. For the current approach to be truly system agnostic gen_tar would need to include the module and program sources to be compiled in the target systems. Thanks in advance! [PATCH v2] kselftest/clone3: Make test names for set_tid test stable

The test results reported for the clone3_set_tid tests interact poorly with automation for running kselftest since the reported test names include TIDs dynamically allocated at runtime. A lot of automation for running kselftest will compare runs by looking at the test name to identify if the same test is being run so changing names make it look like the testsuite has been updated to include new tests. This makes the results display less clearly and breaks cases like bisection. Address this by providing a brief description of the tests and logging that along with the stable parameters for the test currently logged. The TIDs are already logged separately in existing logging except for the final test which has a new log message added. We also tweak the formatting of the logging of expected/actual values for clarity. There are still issues with the logging of skipped tests (many are simply not logged at all when skipped and all are logged with different names) but these are less disruptive since the skips are all based on not being run as root, a condition likely to be stable for a given test system. [PATCH v2] selftests: mm: fix map_hugetlb failure on 64K page size systems

On systems with 64k page size and 512M huge page sizes, the allocation and test succeeds but errors out at the munmap. As the comment states, munmap will failure if its not HUGEPAGE aligned. This is due to the length of the mapping being 1/2 the size of the hugepage causing the munmap to not be hugepage aligned. Fix this by making the mapping length the full hugepage if the hugepage is larger than the length of the mapping. [PATCH v1] selftests/mm: ksm_tests should only MADV_HUGEPAGE valid memory

ksm_tests was previously mmapping a region of memory, aligning the returned pointer to a PMD boundary, then setting MADV_HUGEPAGE, but was setting it past the end of the mmapped area due to not taking the pointer alignment into consideration. Fix this behaviour. Up until commit efa7df3e3bb5 ("mm: align larger anonymous mappings on THP boundaries"), this buggy behavior was (usually) masked because the alignment difference was always less than PMD-size. But since the mentioned commit, `ksm_tests -H -s 100` started failing. [PATCH] kunit: Mark filter_glob param as rw

By allowing the filter_glob parameter to be written to, it's possible to tweak the testsuites that will be executed on new module loads. This makes it easier to run specific tests without having to reload kunit and provides a way to filter tests on real HW even if kunit is builtin. [PATCH v5 4/4] selftest/bpf: Test a perf bpf program that suppresses side effects.

The test sets a hardware breakpoint and uses a bpf program to suppress the side effects of a perf event sample, including I/O availability signals, SIGTRAPs, and decrementing the event counter limit, if the ip matches the expected value. Then the function with the breakpoint is executed multiple times to test that all effects behave as expected.
