Michael,
There are two things here:
- Enabling Go for AArch64 in GCC upstream
- Supporting it in the Toolchain Working Group releases.
For 1 please post your patches to this list for initial review along with testsuite results.
Already done -- that libatomic patch is it! I'll get the testsuite running today.
Once we are happy you are not making any obvious mistakes you can post to the gcc-patches@gcc.gnu.org list, and submit upstream.
For 2 we need to go through TSC to get some changes to present cards. I am assuming this is coming from LEG? Can you send Kate Stewart, James Elliott, Andrea, Anmar & me an email detailing what you think you want in terms of support?
Yes, that's a good question. I'll get back to you :)
Would you be prepared to ship something that had "experimental, unsupported, if it breaks you lose" written all over it, or would you rather only ship things that you are willing to support?
Cheers, mwh
Thanks,
Matt

Hi,
With the patch I just sent to this list in place, gccgo builds for aarch64. I don't know how well it _works_ -- "hello world" builds and runs -- but I would like to ask what the process would be to get gccgo included in the binary distributions of GCC that Linaro makes.
Cheers, mwh
