Continue looking at Richard's micro benchmarks taken from libav w.r.t SMS and experiment with different patches that Richard wrote to improve code generation. Submitted SMS related patch for minor misc fixes http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2011-09/msg00551.html Trying to understand why to new version of the patch to support instructions with REG_INC_NOTE in SMS causes bootstrap failure.
