Hi, I am using arm gcc toolchain present in ubuntu 13.04. I get the following error messages when I compile linux kernel for the mini2440 board.
arch/arm/kernel/entry-armv.S: Assembler messages: arch/arm/kernel/entry-armv.S:228: Error: ARM register expected -- `ldr r6,[ r5,#(0x10)]' arch/arm/kernel/entry-armv.S:228: Error: ARM register expected -- `ldr r0,[ r5,#(0x14)]' arch/arm/kernel/entry-armv.S:459: Error: ARM register expected -- `ldr r6,[ r5,#(0x10)]' arch/arm/kernel/entry-armv.S:459: Error: ARM register expected -- `ldr r0,[ r5,#(0x14)]' make[1]: *** [arch/arm/kernel/entry-armv.o] Error 1 make: *** [arch/arm/kernel] Error 2
These error messages started appearing after i upgraded to 13.04. Is there any problem with the toolchain.
