All, In our ongoing effort to move to an upstream-supported code base and booting the snowball with a device tree (DT) I have change the boot loader in the following android builds [1][2][3] to u-boot-linaro-stable [4]. Once the linaro-uboot is installed in a system it won't be able to boot images that were created at an earlier time. Say that build #500 has the new linaro-uboot and the image has been installed on the emmc. Once powered this uboot will not be able to boot build #499 that is installed on the mmc. To fix the problem, simply install build #500 on the mmc. This is because the mmc commands in the IK-uboot and the linaro-uboot differ. To install the linaro-uboot you *must* use the latest android-linaro-media-create found here [5] until the changes get merged in the official repository [6]. Something like: $ bzr branch lp:~mathieu.poirier/linaro-image-tools/linaro-image-tools Last but not least, the linaro-uboot is currently not able to save the environment variable block to the emmc card. That work is ongoing and the functionality expected to be part of 12.05. Find me on IRC if you have any questions. Regards, Mathieu. Toolchain releases

Sound is not working

List of current daily builds on android-build.linaro.org

Hello Zach, Thanks for recent cleanup of daily Android builds. We are down to 19 daily builds from 30 we had a month ago. Still, I remember that in one of mails you said that you consider that it would be possible to cut number even further (7 or 10, I don't remember now). So, I wonder if it just takes long time to go thru builds and check which are daily and which are not. So, below are the list of current recurring jobs for your review. Let me know if there any which can be turned off, and if I can help with that (for example, feel free to mark those in the response, and I'll make the change). Also, if it makes sense, we can use lower frequency for some of builds, actually, we've been doing that for linaro-android_toolchain-4.5-bzr for a while (builds twice a week). I guess, it makes sense to do such review regularly, for example, once a month. Infra team now has tools to query the regular builds easily, so hopefully we can keep daily builds under close control now. [SAMSUNG][PATCH 0/4] Enable Origen WLAN in 3.4 kernel

The series of patches resolve following problems: - Fix a failure of regstering callback furnction for WLAN - Rename ath6kl for both Ubuntu and Android to let WLAN middleware to use the existing module name. - Fix scanning/ connection problem. Linaro Android build 12.04 on pandaboard ES

Hi Have anyone else tried to set-up pandaboard ES (omap 4460) with Linaro Android build 12.04 ? If I have USB keyboard connected on board the kernel crash to the USB probe and the board reboot continuously ? When I remove the keyboard it boot OK, but it is very unstable. If I close randomly some application (ex browser) the board reboots. Also I have noticed that version information about pvr (cat /proc/pvr/version) notices only omap4430 I not sure if this is only text information and does it mean anything.
